About me

I am a clinical psychologist working with adolescents and adults. As a therapist, I am warm, collaborative and integrative in my approach. I will provide you with a safe, bounded space to understand and make sense of your difficulties - as well as being able to provide effective, evidence-based techniques to help you move forward with your life in the way that you want. My main therapeutic models are CBT and EMDR, I also often draw upon other approaches such as ACT, CFT, systematic therapy and psychodynamic therapy.

I offer online therapy appointments (via Zoom, Skype or FaceTime, according to your preference).

Training, qualifications & experience

  • 8 years post-qualification experience as a Clinical Psychologist (across NHS and private practice)
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, University of Surrey
  • EMDR therapist (for adolescents and adults)
  • MSc Forensic Psychology, Middlesex University
  • MA, Oxford University
  • Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology, Open University
  • BA Philosophy and Theology, Oxford University

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
