About me
In our lives we may experience challenges and difficulties when our usual coping strategies are not working as well as they used to. As a qualified and experienced counsellor I can support you through the journey to understanding and working out new coping strategies. It may be that you are just not feeling right and can't pinpoint what it is, I offer young people and adults a calm, non-judgemental and confidential space to explore what has led them to counselling and supporting them through their journey to better mental health.
My aim is to help you by providing an opportunity to be heard and understood. I know how hard it can be to make the first call and appreciate you taking time to read my profile. I do hope we can work together to enable a step towards a more positive and happier future for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, Level 5 Counselling Young People, I currently volunteer in a young person's charity alongside my role as a school counsellor for 2 days a week.
I have experience volunteering in a counselling role for a charity working with homeless or at risk of becoming homeless people.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
