About me
Hi, I'm Anna, I am friendly, calm, personable and down to earth and I am committed to building a relationship with you that allows you to be open, honest and feel safe enough to explore yourself, your world and your problems.
You may not have anyone you feel you can talk to, or maybe you do but they don’t understand you. I am experienced in offering psychological support and assessment to individuals who experience mental health issues. I create a safe space for each of my clients - a strong relationship is the core of effective therapy!
I'm trained both as a clinical and counselling psychologist.
This means that my approach is slightly different from others, as I use a range of tools and knowledge from different sources. Counselling skills are helping me to understand you better and use a variety of therapeutic forms. Whereas clinical experience gives me an opportunity to explain to you in simple words any possible medical problems that you might be suffering from.
Please call or email me to book a session.
We'll talk about what you want to get out of our work together and if you are happy to continue, I'll set up a session and arrange to see you weekly or fortnightly. Don't be afraid to reach out and ask me anything - I'm here to help.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
