About me
Do you feel completely overwhelmed, as if life is a constant battle? Do you question whether you are a good enough mum, and feel as though everyone else knows some secret that you don’t? You never thought being a mum would be this hard and wonder why you can feel so sad and anxious caring for those you love. You endlessly strive to do more, to be more, but it never feels enough? You search for the answers, for some magic to make things easier, but rather than finding answers you feel more confused and overwhelmed.
Imagine how it would be to know that you are enough. Isn’t this the gift we would give our children if we could? What would it be like if you could care for yourself in the same way that you care for those around you, knowing that this allows you to be truly present and better able to connect with those you love. How would it feel to be a great mum and a great friend to yourself?
As a mum to two boys, I know this journey and I would love to support you as you take your next steps into your future where you feel hope and excitement, believing anything is possible for you and your family.
If you are ready to take those next steps, I would love to hear from you. I know the idea of counselling can be daunting, but if you would like to talk, I offer a free 30 minute online call to explore where you are and whether I am the right person to walk alongside you as you begin the next stage of your journey. Please text or email me to ask any questions you may have or to arrange a call.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Further information
I believe that when we start counselling, we not only want to explore our past, but also want to consider how things can change in the future, and this is a key factor in my work as an integrative therapist. Things happen in life that can affect us deeply and having the space to tell your story can be really powerful. Working with both the mind and the body, we are able to let go of trapped emotions and find ways for you to be more present in the here and now. In addition, I bring knowledge of how our brains work, incorporating coaching and CBT techniques, to allow you to move forward with a greater sense of control and hope for the future.
