About me
Do you feel overwhelmed with anxiety because you feel nothing you do is good enough? You work so hard to get things right, to do the right thing, and yet somehow it always feels wrong! Do you constantly strive to do more, to be more, and yet it is never enough? You search for the answers, for some magic to make things easier, but rather than finding answers you feel more confused and overwhelmed. Do you strive to be there to support those that you love, and yet the feeling of responsibility is heavy and leaves you feeling burnt out? Perhaps you worry about the impact these feeling have on other people in your life, and yet don't know what to do about it.
Imagine how it would be to know that you are enough. To trust that you are doing your best and heading in the right direction. To stop feeling like an imposter who is faking their way through life, and instead feel a sense of self-worth and inner confidence.
It is possible! It has been such a joy and privilege for me to work with clients and support them as they overcome their own struggles and traumas, discovering the person they were born to be. To take the next steps in their lives with self-belief, self-worth and hope for the future, to stop surviving and start thriving!
As a highly sensitive, neurodivergent woman, and mum to two boys, I know this journey. I know how these struggles impacted me and my ability to be the parent I wanted to be, and how this work has changed me and my loved ones. I would love to support you as you take your next steps into your future where you feel hope and excitement, believing anything is possible for you and your family.
If you are ready to take those next steps, I would love to hear from you. I know the idea of counselling can be daunting, but if you would like to talk, I offer a free 30 minute online call to explore where you are and whether I am the right person to walk alongside you as you begin the next stage of your journey. Please text or email me to ask any questions you may have or to arrange a call.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I believe that when we start counselling, we not only want to explore our past, but also want to consider how things can change in the future, and this is a key factor in my work as an integrative therapist. Things happen in life that can affect us deeply and having the space to tell your story can be really powerful. Working with both the mind and the body, we are able to let go of trapped emotions and find ways for you to be more present in the here and now. In addition, I bring knowledge of how our brains work, incorporating coaching and CBT techniques, to allow you to move forward with a greater sense of control and hope for the future.
I am a University Lecturer in Psychology and Counselling, teaching counselling at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
I was previously employed as a counsellor by two charities working with clients who have experienced trauma, and have ran parent support/ coaching groups.
