About me
I'm an integrative counsellor driven by my passion for counselling. Being a counsellor is not my job but the way I choose to be in the world; offering compassion, empathy and understanding for your individual experience.
Life can feel overwhelming sometimes with so much going on and so much for us to cope with. Counselling helps you explore what is going on for you and allows for more space in your life to learn about yourself and your patterns which can be a painful yet rewarding process. I will be your companion in this journey to help explore this journey with you offering you empathic understanding and allowing both of us to be curious without any judgment or quick fixes. For us to learn more about you and who you are, I need your commitment and investment in the process.
Together, we can explore any difficult feelings you might be having such as: anxiety, depression, loss, overwhelm, burnout, stress or any other issue or difficulty you may be experiencing. You may be going through a transition period and not sure how to navigate the changes. You may be feeling trapped by your current situation and unable to make a decision. During our sessions, we will be working on exploring all these feelings so you may find the answers to some of your questions or gain awareness which could empower you to make the changes you want in your life.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

I'm flexible in the way I work and always led by how long you want to be in counselling for whether that's long term therapy or short term. We will be having regular reviews of our work together.
