About me
I specialise in working with young adults aged 18-30, being a young adult can be really difficult and overwhelming, there are lots of transitions that happen during this period and sometimes we can question if we are making the right choices, either in our careers, education or relationships. I invite you to get in contact with me if you either want to work through a difficult time, or if you interested in learning more about yourself and gaining a deep level of self awareness.
Together we can begin to unravel your thoughts and feelings, that may feel heavy and complex to begin with, at a pace that feels safe for you. Each new session is an opportunity for you to explore anything that is on your mind. My role as your counsellor is to encourage self exploration and help you connect the dots, in an empathic, non- judgmental way. This way you can start to make sense of your inner world, which may be reflected in your outer world through the means of repetitive behaviour patterns, or a life that isn't quite the way you want it to be. These things can feel so out of our control. Each session will begin in an open ended manor, inviting you to explore whatever it is, that you may not feel able to share with other people in your own life.
I am a professional qualified therapeutic counsellor (FdA) with BACP membership. I work using an integrative approach which means you lead the sessions. Whatever you bring we will explore together.
I have experience working with a diverse range of presenting problems including: depression, anxiety, body image, eating disorders, gender identity, trauma, loss, abuse, addiction, and other areas.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
