Urmila Grant, MA psychotherapist - UKCP Registered
Whatever your difficulties, therapy is for you if you want to feel happier about yourself or are looking for deeper meaning and purpose in your life.
I offer short and long-term integrative transpersonal psychotherapy to adults. You can expect to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, your capacities, and your relationships and you will leave equipped with the skills to help you deal with these beyond therapy.
I am empathic and work intuitively. I can sense what is needed to make difficult moments tolerable by using my calm presence, creating a meditative environment, where you can reflect on yourself. My approach ranges from psychodynamic counselling, existential, and gestalt counselling to applying Jungian and transpersonal concepts. I also use the transformative powers of creative visualisations, and dreams.
I have worked in a variety of settings including the NHS, voluntary, and private practice. My experience includes working alongside trans, gender diverse, and questioning people.
Please do not hesitate to call or email to book a session. Therapy sessions last 50 minutes and are weekly on the same day and time.
Training, qualifications & experience
Diploma in Integrative counselling and psychotherapy.
I have been in private practice for many years.
