About me
Hello! My name is Tracey and I'm a Person-Centred Counsellor & Psychotherapist, professionally trained to Degree level and am an Accredited Member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS). I mainly work out of my therapy room on the Isle of Wight.
Whilst my personal experience has been of anxiety, depression, bereavement and relationship issues as well as other life challenges, I respect the fact that your lived experiences are personal to you.
From my own experience of receiving counselling support, I know how courageous taking this first step to counselling has been, and the importance of finding someone you can trust, are comfortable with and feel able to share your innermost thoughts and emotions. It is crucial that you feel heard, what you share remains confidential and that you feel genuine warmth and understanding.
Alongside my Private Practice, I provide support as a Bereavement Volunteer and Supervisor for the local branch of a national charity, a role which has been my privilege to be able to do for 13 years as well as working as a sessional counsellor for an Island based service which provides counselling at an affordable price for survivors of sexual assault and rape.
I understand we are all individual and of the importance for finding a perfect 'fit', because in therapy there is no 'one size fits all' so my work is tailored to each unique person, walking with them as they find their own way to a fulfilling and happier life. I offer a space that is safe, non-judgmental and confidential for you to work at your own pace.
My work is mostly in-person with adults 18+ years in my therapy room and can also be via telephone (UK), online video call via a secure platform as well as FaceTime & WhatsApp. Each 50 minutes counselling session costs £50.00.
I offer a brief introductory 'phone call for those genuinely ready to start therapy.
If what I'm offering sounds as though it could meet your needs, or if you have any questions, either please call, message or email me. I aim to reply within 48 hours.

Talk to me about what concessions I offer, the past year has meant finances are stretched for some, that doesn't need to be a barrier to accessing counselling.
