About us
Every one advertising here will lead on how their style of counselling is compassionate, safe and non judgemental. As it should be - but I offer more than just the basics. Life is complicated, we continually face tests form Allah SWT, which have been cultivated especially for us and the perspectives we carry.
He is AL-HAKEEM, possessing the divine wisdom and reasoning behind these. As humas we are made curious beings, we succumb to our emotions, cultural guidelines, family messages and the advice and teachings of others around us, to attempt to make sense of this. At times this is of benefit, other times we feel more overwhelmed, anxious, threatened and afraid of what is befalling or had befallen us.
I as the Muslim Counsellor support your wellbeing and mental health, with providing Islamic counselling, to strengthen and empower your emotional intelligence and provide Islamic reasoning and reminders and insights to support you mental wellbeing as you experience your life.
My practice provides compassionate, culturally sensitive, and faith-informed support for those who are seeking a specialist service for themselves and others.
As a practicing Muslim woman, I understand how deeply faith, family, identity and expectations can shape our wellbeing. I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and experiences at your own pace. My approach integrates therapeutic practice with Islamic principles, allowing clients to feel seen, understood, and supported in a way that aligns with their values.
Whether you are experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or you’re seeking personal growth through an Islamic lens, I am here to support you with empathy, clarity, and professional guidance.
You do not have to face your challenges alone.
Together, we can work towards healing, deeper self-understanding, and a stronger connection with yourself and your Creator.

Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
