About me

Our mental health is really important. and all too quickly we can find ourselves overwhelmed by life's demands and the needs and wants of others. It's very easy to lose sight of our own needs, often putting ourselves last becomes second nature!!

A current or past event may have left you feeling discombobulated or generally off kilter. You maybe feeling anxious or worried about things, perhaps a little isolated or lonely and finding it hard to navigate life.  With overwhelming feelings comes a real sense of exhaustion, loss, anger, the inability to see the wood from the trees and be able to identify the best way forward for you.

I believe we each have the inner ability to heal and work with what is emotionally ailing us and by creating a safe space where you are truly heard and accepted without judgement is the ideal opportunity to do this.  You will be offered the mutual respect, empathy and kindness of a 121 counselling relationship where we will work at your pace.

Humans are relational beings and strive to be socially connected with others. However overtime, our thoughts, feelings and emotions can distort our sense of safety and general well-being. They can undermined our sense of worth and confidence, often leaving us lacking energy and self-esteem.

Overwhelming thoughts and feelings are very real, its the bodies natural reaction to an unexpected event or situation. As unique individuals, we all experience these in different ways and at different levels. This is why the counselling offered, also know as “Talking Therapy” is tailored to suit your needs. Its a chance for you to just be YOU. It is a source of support as you explore your experiences and process the thoughts, feelings and emotions related to them.

Therapy aims to help build resilience, understanding and connection. Enabling you to move toward a life that feels more balanced and true to yourself.

How I work....

I am a fully qualified, professional and experienced relational therapist.

My role is one of support and gentle curiosity and by working integratively I will tailor our therapy sessions to suit your current needs.

I am there to listen with empathy and strive to see the world through your eyes.

I am not there to give you the answers, as you will discover those for yourself, I'm there to facilitate, enable and support you.

Through our counselling relationship, I can share my knowledge, skills and counselling experience, enabling you to become more self aware, have a better understanding of your own behaviours, helping you to heal or move forward.

So lets work together in a way that makes you ‘FeelEnabled’,

How we can connect......  In Person. I have a secure and welcoming counselling room based in Swindon, where we can meet on a weekly basis.  Online via Zoom or by telephone.   Zoom can be securely downloaded for free onto a computer, laptop or other mobile device, making counselling more accessible than ever, enabling us to connect where ever you might be.

I also offer Walk & Talk/ Outdoor therapy - Evidence suggests there are real benefits to be gained by being able to combine the positive aspects of being outdoors with the benefits of talking therapy. We know that being outside can improve mood, help us to sleep better and decrease stress and anxiety for example. It can be both soothing and exhilarating. It provides the opportunity to increase exposure to natural light and fresh air that our bodies and brains instinctively respond to. Please contact me for more details...

I aim to respond to all New Client Enquiries within 48hrs. I offer a free 30 minute Initial consultation either by phone or Zoom, an opportunity for us to connect, explore your current needs and look at how I might support you.

The most important thing to remember is that YOU ARE NOT ALONE, we will make this journey side by side and together.
