About me
I'm an experienced clinical psychologist and cognitive analytic therapy (CAT) practitioner, having worked extensively in the NHS and within universities, contributing to the training of other psychologists. I have specialist experience in and passion for working with women to navigate being a woman through the lifespan, having worked for several years within women’s health psychology settings. This includes difficulties related to relationships, making fertility choices, pregnancy and birth experiences, the beginning, middle and end of our reproductive years, intimacy, loss, and maintaining a positive sense of self.
I am passionate about psychological health and therefore understanding your experiences so we can think together about what you need. I offer a compassionate, safe, supportive space do this. However, I understand how difficult it can be to make contact and begin therapy. I am therefore happy to offer a free 20 minute telephone consultation to answer any questions.
I pride myself on my ethics and professionalism and will always discuss with you at the outset whether I think I am best placed to work with you. Please get in touch if there is anything it would be helpful to discuss further.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
The Association for Cognitive Analytic Therapy (ACAT) is a registered charity. They welcome members of the public, health professionals, ACAT accredited professionals, and anyone interested in finding out more about CAT. They list CAT practitioners.
