About me
Hi! My name is Sarah, an Intuitive Counsellor with a Passion for Soul work, Empowerment and Transformation.
Soul Rainbow Counselling provides Online/Telephone Psychodynamic, Trauma-Informed and Spiritual Counselling which embraces a holistic approach to Mental, Emotional, Physical and Spiritual well-being.
My approach to counselling mainly involves working at depth and looks at childhood experiences to help make sense of the issues you have in your adult life. Raising awareness of these experiences helps you release old/stuck emotional wounds, become more authentic and empowers you to choose a different way of thinking, feeling and behaving that helps improve your quality of life and overall well-being.
If you have long term unresolved mental health or relationship issues and are stuck in unhealthy repetitive life patterns it is likely there is a deeper root cause and this type of therapy would be very beneficial.

Soul Rainbow Counselling is about believing and trusting in the transformative power of healing and self-discovery. I understand that life’s journey can present us with challenges, obstacles and times of uncertainty. Yet, these difficulties are the catalyst to our personal growth where we can discover within us our unique spectrum of experiences, emotions and possibilities.
The Rainbow teaches us that through the hard times, darkness and rain, colour and beauty always comes back to us. We learn that the vibrancy of life is experienced through embracing both the light and the dark aspects of life and oneself. The treasure really does lie within each of us.

Volunteered as a counsellor at local charity organisations (Ashgate Hospice and SAIL - Sexual Abuse & Incest Line) and worked with clients experiencing, grief, loss, terminal illness, trauma and sexual abuse.
Personally I have been on a huge Journey of Self Discovery and Spiritual Growth and I am passionate about helping people navigate through this life changing transformative process.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
