About me

I have developed substantial knowledge and experience within the private sector of working at Priory Organisation. Now, I am venturing out to build my own practice at London, Harley Street.

I have over 10 years in primary and secondary mental health within the adult sector. This was in the context of several services including forensic settings, CAMHS, eating disorder, personality disorder units, in-patient acute/PICU wards, rehabilitation units and neurological/brain injury units. In 2016, I began to deliver psychological therapy/CBT in various IAPT programmes.

I had the opportunity to work for IAPT services at different cities to deliver CBT treatment plans. My experience of working for South West London and St George's mental health trust expanded my clinical knowledge and being able to deal with complex cases.

I have trained in a therapeutic approach known as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), which I use to provide assessment and treatment interventions for conditions like depressive disorders, other anxiety related disorders, self-esteem and Body Dysmorphia.

My personal approach is to be respectful towards the clients I am working with, whilst offering high clinical care in an emotionally attuned manner.

“I pride myself on working hard and being compassionate so as to support my clients in their psychological journey. I am conscious of the need to find creative routes to adapt my work to the different learning styles clients can have.”

My main specialism areas: Trauma and abuse, Family Dynamic, Neurodiversity and LGBTQ.

Anyone who is going through prolonged trauma, neglect or historical abuse may feel the lack of emotional nurturing in their soul. I use trauma informed and work through disrupted attachments around their safety, biological responses, connections, trust, identity, poor emotional regulation and self-resilience.

My innate state has altruistic and compassionate traits using emotional sensitivity to embrace human as a whole and fulfilling their desire to be seen, heard and understood.

My level of depth embraces the schema approach informed with some psychodynamic elements and finally attachment theory. I can deal with interpersonal difficulties that may be maintained through defence mechanisms which derives from the psychoanalytic theory.

I can explore unmet emotional core needs by working through the unconscious states that usually present as a core belief such as “I am not good enough”. Many times, I have to search the emotional wound from childhood which is played out in their current trap of maladaptive schemas such as enmeshment, emotional deprivation, shame, unrelenting standards and abandonment.
