About me

I have no sessions currently availability. If you wish to make an enquiry please contact me.

I am a qualified counsellor using Person-Centred Therapy, Gestalt Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I also draw on my knowledge of mindfulness and transactional analysis to help clients.

I help people reduce anxiety, and find & grow their inner strength, to regain their ability to cope with the stresses and worries of traumatic events and everyday living experiences.  I help people to increase their self-esteem and confidence so that they feel able to deal with challenges.

My experience includes general anxiety, agoraphobia, trauma, shame, supporting others, dealing with relationships, work-related stress, adapting to change, low-confidence and self-esteem.

Where appropriate I can share skills with a client to help them self-manage their mental health after the counselling sessions have ended.

I work primarily by online video-call (preference) and by phone. I may be able to arrange face-to face for local clients which is likely to incur an additional charge.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
