Have stress and worry got the better of you? Sometimes anxiety builds up, interferes with your life. Feeling really anxious is overwhelming but you can overcome it. Having developed coping strategies and changing the way I engage with my own anxious thoughts, I made the decision to train to be a psychotherapist so that I could help other people do the same. I wish I’d known about CBT when I was in my 20s! If you are feeling a little overwhelmed by anxiety, then Cognitive Behavioural Therapy could help you too. Together we will look at what is going on and build a toolkit of coping strategies for you.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has a long-established reputation for being a tested and successful way of reducing depression and anxiety. I also like to incorporate Mindfulness techniques into my practice, where appropriate. I offer 55 minute, confidential sessions, tailored to your specific needs.
I am an experienced, understanding and fully accredited CBT therapist working out of a private therapy room in LE12, near Loughborough and also offering virtual therapy by Zoom and other channels. I have worked previously for the NHS and now focus on my private practice.
