About me

Hi, I am a senior psychotherapist with 25 years of experience that includes: NHS Psychotherapist, NHS Public Health - Addictions, Director & Professor of Psychotherapy at Regents University, Clinical Director of Psychotherapy services within the private sector, Psychotherapist in Psychiatry and Professional Psychological Debriefing within the public sector.

Helping people feel better with a sense of progress, is important to me and because I have trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, I tailor my approach to suit your specific needs, history and situation.

I have helped people from all walks of life: business CEO’s, Directors and executives, lawyers, medical professionals, parents and students; particularly with anxiety, depression, ADHD, low self-esteem, family and relationship issues, trauma informed/PTSD, low confidence, bereavement and wide ranging career issues. Please visit my website for a more comprehensive list of issues worked with and further information.

Psychotherapy sometimes includes CBT and solution focused approaches, and I have found that some clients value the integration of proactive coaching at times, alongside a deeper identification and understanding of root causes.

My practice offers flexibility in terms of therapy duration and regularity, to suit busy schedules. You can opt for weekly or fortnightly sessions, with sessions starting from 8am and lunch hour options also available.

Further information

I began my professional life as exhibitions manager at the Tate Gallery. Whilst managing teams there, I became interested in relational dynamics, embarking on four years of in-depth psychotherapy training. After this, I trained-taught thousands of people to become psychotherapists, during two further decades within further and higher education. Since 1998, I have maintained a busy private practice, and during this 25 year period, have worked with a wide range of people - from diverse backgrounds, professions and life experiences, both international and UK-wide.

I value and respect the enormous range of people that I get to meet and feel honoured to work within a profession that supports healthy relational interaction, meaningful life experiences, and the enabling of freedom from suffering.

Feel free to contact me with any questions you might have, including insurance queries; and feel free visit to my website to find out more about me and the work I do (range of issues I have worked with).
