I have a professional background in dealing with and managing issues emanating from childhood trauma and sexual abuse, both within and outside the family environment. I am professionally insured and hold an Enhanced Level DBS Certificate.

Throughout my work in this field over many years, I have gained a significant understanding of the many psychological and emotional difficulties that victims face in moving forward with their lives and the valuable part that dedicated counselling support can assist in this process.

I have also worked within the voluntary sector providing therapy and counselling for people suffering from trauma, depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts.

Other areas that I am proficient in are Couple Counselling and all matters relating to relationship issues 

I also specialise in providing both in-person and online therapy for people suffering from the many negative effects of addiction. This includes the more common forms of addiction to substances such as alcohol, amphetamine, cocaine, food and nicotine etc.

Other forms of addiction that I provide therapy for include gambling, food, cosmetic surgery, shoplifting and work addiction.

More recently through the ever present and subtle pervasion of the internet and social media the demand for addiction therapy has dramatically increased in such areas as pornography, shopping, gambling and day trading addiction.
