About me
Hi I'm Natalie, I'm a BABCP Accredited Senior Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and Mindfulness Teacher, and I've got over 12 years experience working in mental health. I have my own private practice and I also work in the NHS as Deputy Clinical Lead & Principal CBT Therapist for a 'Talking Therapies for Anxiety & Depression' service in Hertfordshire. With my private clients I help them overcome anxiety, worry, overthinking, procrastination, perfectionism, overwhelm and self-doubt. I can show you how to break the vicious cycles that are keeping you stuck, so you can live your life feeling more confident, calm and content.
The great thing about CBT is that it’s a collaborative therapy. I’m the expert in CBT and you’re the expert in you. We’ll figure things out together, so you can break cycles, move beyond your difficulties and get on with your life. I’ll be with you every step of the way, making you feel safe and supported and allowing you to take things at your own pace.
What makes my trauma-informed approach unique and particularly effective is that I'm able to draw on my other trainings in Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindful Self-Compassion and Attachment Theory to tailor the therapy so that it meets your individual needs. If now feels like the time to start making positive changes in your life, get in touch and I can show you how!

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
