About me

Hi, I'm Natalie, I'm a Principal CBT Therapist, Mindfulness Teacher and Mental Health Consultant. Welcome to my space for therapy, mindfulness and self-compassion. I'm so glad you've found your way here!

I specialise in Perfectionism, Low Self-Esteem and Anxiety - there's nothing I'm better at and love more than helping women to build self-worth and recognise they're good enough. I'm known as @the.perfectionism.therapist on Instagram and I can help you overcome perfectionism and all the baggage that comes with trying to be perfect - i.e. unrelenting high standards, self-criticism, procrastination, people pleasing, burnout, imposter syndrome, and much more.

As a CBT Therapist I'm highly trained to work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression and PTSD. I'm particularly skilled in helping clients struggling with Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder and Body Dysmorphic Disorder.

I've been practicing CBT for a decade and have spent most of my time working in the NHS as a Senior Therapist and Manager, and now as a Deputy Clinical Lead for a mental health service called IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies). I run my private practice alongside this, only taking on a handful of clients so they can get the best out of me.

As an experienced CBT Therapist I'm also able to incorporate techniques from my other trainings in Mindfulness, Compassion Focused Therapy and Mindful Self-Compassion, to help find the right unique formula that works for you.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have a 3 year Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology - and got to write my dissertation on OCD under the supervision of Professor Mark Freeston.

And then there's my 2 year Post-Graduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Plus an extra 2 year Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT for Children & Young People.

I did my Mindfulness Teacher Training with the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice, and I've also completed two further specialist mindfulness trainings at the University of Oxford Mindfulness Centre.

And last but not least I've also completed trainings in Compassion Focused Therapy and Group Therapy, and I'm currently training in Mindful Self-Compassion at The Center for MSC.
