About me

Sometimes we could do with a helping hand, free from the demands and pressure of others. As an integrative counsellor I'd like to offer you that helping hand. Whether you're feeling low self-esteem, stressed, depressed, held back with anxiety or overwhelmed from carrying other peoples worries with no time for yourself.

Let me help you get out of your pattern that has been hindering you. In my experience I believe life is better when you make a positive connection with someone to share your problems with, who'll listen in a non-judgemental way, who you can be your true self with, who can help you readdress the balance in your life.

I practice within the NHS and counsel young clients with a range of mental health conditions from General anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder to depression. I also support neuro-diverse client's who are struggling with Autism (ASD/ASC) or Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as individuals who self-harm or who are grieving.

Although I'm an integrative counsellor, my foundation lies within Person-centred therapy. I believe the key for counselling to be successful is that the relationship needs to be balanced between the counsellor and client. I practice out of a cabin in my back garden within an idyllic setting.

Email or call me to arrange a free phone or Microsoft Teams online consultation.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
