About me

Hello and welcome, the thoughts and feelings we have about ourselves, affect how we communicate, the way we communicate affects our relationships and well being.

I am an integrated counsellor which means I can work with different types of therapies to meet your individual needs. Exploring the way you think and feel can develop your emotional intelligence and give you the knowledge to bring about the resolve you seek.

I am an individual and a therapist that believes change is possible.
As a therapist I offer: understanding, clarity and empathy, "empathy is the capacity to recognise feelings that are being experienced by another".

Training, qualifications & experience

I have an Advanced Diploma in counselling & psychotherapy (Ad Dip CP)
accredited by The National Counselling Society & The Royal College of Nursing

I have a Diploma in Hypnotherapy & counselling skills (Dip Hyp CS)
accredited by The National Hypnotherapy Society & The Royal College of Nursing.

I am fully insured.

I have experience with: loss, relationship issues, abuse and other life events or situations.

I am an integrated therapist with a multi tool box of approaches which include:  

Psychotherapy, Transactional Analysis (TA) Gestalt, Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT).

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Counselling fees:

£40.00 per session for individual counselling
£60.00 per session for couples counselling

Hypnotherapy fees:

£55.00 per session.

24 hours notice of cancellation is required or the full session fee is payable. 

Concessions available to low income individuals.

Wheelchair user access
