About me

Hello there, curious soul!

I'm Louise. Another fellow human, travelling on the path to truth and wholeness. My official title is counselling psychologist, but what I really do is spend time with people, creating safety for them to get close to their hearts, so that they can start to wake up to the life they truly want to live.

I get it—bringing someone in when you are hurting the most isn't an easy sell, particularly when you are used to keeping people out. Just like you, I've longed for those elusive 'answers,' trying to figure out the question, "what is wrong with me?" all on my own.

I'm here to tell you that there is nothing wrong with you. There never was.

In our work together you can start getting closer your wholeness, that was just there waiting for you to notice, all along. It has just been covered with decades of mudd and together we will excavate and you can begin to discover who you really are.

Together we can unravel anxiety, numbness and emptiness, getting you closer to what these feelings have been communicating to you. So that you can thrive, instead of just surviving.

Training, qualifications & experience

There are times in our lives when we all face challenges that are difficult to overcome on our own.

As an experienced Counselling Psychologist I journey with people who want to make sense of what is going on for them and understand how there inner world have taken shape, and what the anxiety, emptiness and numbness is communicating.

I specialise in supporting people that struggle with painful consequences of early trauma, particularly relational trauma. The people I meet often feel they are repeating patterns they don’t know how to break and that affects many aspects of their lives. The more we can get close to how these patterns take shape, how they play out and what they are telling us about, the more choice is possible.

An aspect of this work that is particularly close to my heart is supporting people out of loneliness and disconnection, into re-connecting with their body, their sense of self, others, the natural world, wonder and joy.

It’s important to me to build a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship, as it’s the foundation for any change and healing to take place. For me that means that I follow you, and I hold a deep belief that you have everything inside of you that you need, you just have to find your way back to it. Whatever is coming up for you I seek to be a witness it together with you with non-judgement, openness and compassion to allow for healing of heart, body, mind and spirit.

I am trained in a range of therapeutic methods and have specialised in Relational Neuroscience, Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Mindfulness, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). I am passionate about working creatively to support each person’s well-being and I offer an integrative therapy based on your needs, my clinical experience and current research.

I am registered with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC). I’m also registered psychologist in Sweden. I work in English and Swedish.
