About me

I specialise in helping individuals struggling with anxiety, stress or the aftermath of difficult experiences to heal and move forwards in life. If you feel like a therapeutic approach which offers more than simply talking would serve you, then I am glad you are here reading this. In addition to offering a safe and non-judgemental space for you to talk about your difficulties, I also offer tools which you can use to reflect and heal somatically and creatively. Whether you would like to work through a specific trauma, fear, phobia or stressor, or you would like to work slowly through many issues, I am here to help.

With a holistic approach to healing informed by art therapy, IFS (Internal Family Systems, or parts work) emotional freedom techniques (EFT/tapping), attachment theory, and mindfulness, I guide people to tap into their energy and intuition to heal. I will help you learn to cope and see your difficulties in a new light, leaving you eventually feeling empowered to thrive independently.

If my approach resonates with you, please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions, for more information, or to have a free conversation about how we can work together.

We can work in-person or online, short-term or long-term: your therapy will be as individual as you are!

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

My in-person therapy rooms both have a couple of steps to access, but there is a ramp available at Sanctuary Therapy Centre which is suitable for non-motorised wheelchairs. Please get in touch if you'd like to speak further about access requirements.
