About me

Psychotherapy will be different for each of us. My priority is to create a space for you to speak about your thoughts and feelings free from judgement. Through the careful discussion of your experiences, we can make better sense of the challenges you face. This process is not always easy but can lead to greater self-understanding and future wellbeing.

My practice is informed by psychoanalytic and existential approaches. This means focusing on the here-and-now, the things we think about ourselves, the past, the future - but also our unconscious motives, bringing to light what has been kept in the dark.

I offer open-ended therapy and am happy to meet weekly or more frequently depending on what is most apropropriate.

If you are interested in beginning psychotherapy please do get in touch, we can arrange an initial phone call to discuss

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
