About me
Hi my name is Jenny, welcome to my profile. I am a fully qualified person centred counsellor and supervisor with a real passion for what I do, I believe that everyone can achieve goals and feel better in life.
Being a person centred therapist means I offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental environment for you to explore your feelings and emotions, with the belief that you have within you the ability to find the answers you seek.
Sometimes a little support can make all the difference to building a better, more positive future for yourself. I offer support in a safe, relaxing and non judgemental environment in Orrell and surrounding areas, alternatively, I can visit you at your home if this would suit you better.
I have experience of working with a wide number of clients with a diverse range of issues, I also have experience of counselling children and young people both in a school setting and in Private Practice.

- CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Counselling and psychotherapy
- Open University Introduction to Counselling Level 1

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

£40.00 per session
Additional information
I offer a free consultation with absolutely no obligation, this is usually around 30 minutes. Further sessions are £40 for a 60 minute session.
I offer reduced rates for trainee counsellors.
Supervision sessions are £50 for 90 minutes
Supervision for trainee counsellors is £45 for 90 minutes.
When I work
I am available in the daytime and evenings between Monday and Friday
