About me
Hello, my name is Jean and I'm an Integrative Counsellor and Supervisor. I have extensive experience working with issues such as low mood and depression, anxiety and stress, low self esteem and self confidence, assault, loss and bereavement, drugs and alcohol addiction, relationship problems, feeling stuck, exploitation and trauma.
- 15 years counselling experience with adults
- 10 years experience working with young people age 11 +
- 5 years in counselling supervision.
Would you like a place to feel safe, to express and process any suppressed emotions that are keeping you blocked from living life to your full potential? I can help you if you are ready and willing.
What to expect in counselling sessions with me
Sessions will be 50 minutes weekly of your choice, face to face, online or telephone. I will lean in and listen actively, reflecting back what is being seen and heard. Helping you to understand your lived experience, helping you to gain a greater self awareness and clarity.
I will be by your side, supporting you to navigate your choices in a way to shift and raise your vibrations, learning to let go of anything that is not serving you and create a healthy love for yourself, with the aim to live a more joyful life and reconnect with things that bring you much passion and being more present in the now.
My passion is to see you grow and flourish in what area of your life you wish to work on. I'm a spiritual being and at my most happiest when wild river swimming and being around nature.
I tailor make my way of working around your needs to facilitate your healing process. I am a genuine human being and I intend to offer you honesty and respect as an individual.
Counselling sessions are confidential and for full benefit of the counselling process, commitment needs to be in place between counsellor and client.
If you have any questions or would like to book a session for yourself or your child/children, please give me a call or text on 07757 607462 or send me an email.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
