About me
If you are going through a sad or overwhelming loss in your life or feeling stuck with anxious thought, I am here to help.
I’m Irene Jermoli, an experienced integrative psychotherapeutic counsellor. My expertise is to support and guide people like you who are struggling with anxiety, depression, loss, difficult life transitions and anger management.
When anxiety feels consuming, when grief lingers, or when life changes leave you disoriented, it can be hard to find steady ground. Therapy offers a space where you can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what you’re going through.
My aim is to help you feel calmer, clearer, and more connected to yourself again, at a pace that feels safe and manageable.
If you’re considering therapy, take a small but powerful step today. Book your free 20-minute consultation today, I am here to listen.
Areas of my expertise:
- Anxiety and stress
- Panic attacks and intrusive thoughts
- Depression and low mood
- Bereavement and grief
- Life transitions and identity changes
- Childlessness not by choice, pregnancy loss, and abortion
- Relationship challenges and break-ups
- Boundaries, self-worth, and self-esteem
- Shame, guilt, and anger
- Illness-related distress and death anxiety
How I Work
My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded. I offer a space where you can speak freely, without judgement, and begin to understand both what you’re feeling and why.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, which means I draw from different evidence-based approaches and tailor therapy to your unique needs.
In our work together, we may use elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to gently challenge patterns that keep you stuck, especially in anxiety and low mood. Alongside this, we can explore deeper emotional themes — helping you reconnect with parts of yourself that may have been silenced or overwhelmed.
Whether you are looking for short-term focused support or longer-term exploration, we will shape the work around what feels right for you.
I offer sessions in person (London) and online, in English and Italian.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
Areas of counselling I deal with
Other areas of counselling I deal with
In my extra time I volunteer for the Mulberry Centre at West Middlesex Hospital, supporting cancer patients and their carers. I also volunteer one evening per week for an agency providing counselling to people with no income, as I believe that emotional support has to be accessible to everyone when needed.
