About me

Hi! I'm Harriet. I'm passionate about working with young people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, or relationship issues. I'd love to hear from you if this is something you wish to work on, because I appreciate that everyone's story and experience is unique and it is so important to find a counsellor that suits your needs. My core client base are between the ages of 16 and 30.

I'm currently working online and in person- each session is 50 minutes, and we will start with a check in and end with a reflection on how you can take care of yourself before our next session. The time can be used however you find helpful; we can talk about the issue, or about how it is affecting your life, or look forward in a more solution orientated way.

I am open to working with a wide range of topics, but have a special focus and passion for working with those struggling with binge eating disorder. I also love working with those who are embracing the spiritual element of their journey and would wish to bring this into our work together, in whichever way this is comfortable for you to discuss.

I offer a free 20 minute online introductory session so that you can feel into whether we are a good fit together and to give you confidence that you would feel safe and comfortable commencing counselling with me. Please get in touch and we can arrange our first session from there. I can't wait to hear from you! :)

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a degree in Psychology and have completed a level 5 course in psychotherapeutic counselling. I have continued education and qualifications in humanistic counselling, solution focused therapy, and motivational interviewing.

I am also a qualified Hypnotherapist, if this is something that interests you then I am happy to discuss incorporating elements of hypnotherapy into our sessions.
