About me

Hi! I'm Harriet. The core of my work is supporting people in changing the trajectory their life is on. I hear all the time how clients look around at their surroundings or environment or relationships and think "is this as good as it gets?" It's a resounding no, but it can be really difficult to come to that conclusion on your own and to identify what needs to change and how. I work with all sorts of issues, but themes that often come up are anxiety, stress, overwhelm, and a general apathy for life as it currently is. I also have a real passion for working on communication skills- with your partner, a parent, a friend, or maybe just in how you speak to yourself. I think it's massively important to be able to express our needs and enable those around us to best support us.

I'm currently working online so can see anyone from anywhere! Each session is 50 minutes, and we will start with a check in and end with a reflection on how you can take care of yourself before our next session. The time can be used however you find helpful; I'll go at your pace and you can bring whatever is on your mind. I like to work with a solution focussed slant- essentially we take a good look at where you are now, and create a picture of where you want to be, and go from there.

I especially love working with those who are embracing the spiritual element of their journey and would wish to bring this into our work together, in whichever way this is comfortable for you to discuss.

I appreciate that everyone's story and experience is unique and it is so important to find a counsellor that suits your needs, which is why I offer a free 20 minute online introductory session so that you can feel into whether we are a good fit together and to give you confidence that you would feel safe and comfortable commencing counselling with me. Please get in touch and we can arrange our first session from there. I can't wait to hear from you! :)
