About me

Hi there, I’m Grace. I'm a qualified, BACP-registered Psychotherapist offering counselling in East Molesey, Weybridge and online, for those who prefer remote support. I work with individuals (16+) and couples from diverse backgrounds, supporting them on their healing journey in a safe, compassionate and judgement-free space.

If you’re here, you’re likely taking the first brave steps in looking for a therapist. I'd love to learn more about you and see how we could work together.

I currently have some availability to accept new clients and run a waiting list if we can't immediately find a time that suits us both. I hold weekly sessions:

  • Online via Zoom (which is easy and free to use)
  • In-person at my clinics in:
    • East Molesey (KT8 0DL)
    • Weybridge (KT13 9LB)

Individual sessions are 50 minutes, and couples can choose their session length (50 minutes, 90 minutes or 2 hours).

Please get in touch for more specific time availability or to book in your free 15-minute discovery call.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am trained as a counsellor with a BA in Integrative-Relational Counselling, and am a registered member with the BACP

My integrative approach draws on a range of therapeutic models, tailored to meet your unique needs. I work holistically, considering your mind, body, culture, race, spirituality, neurotype, age, gender identity, sexuality and ability - whatever feels most relevant to you. I am encouraging, but will challenge gently too. I won’t offer advice, but I will offer thoughts, reflections and questions to get you thinking, not only in the session but between them as well. Additionally, I often work creatively in sessions, using tools like music, art, nesting dolls, postcards, sandboxes and toys.

My experience includes areas such as:

  • Relationship or family issues - individuals and couples
  • Anxiety, depression, stress & burnout
  • Bereavement, grief & loss
  • Abuse & trauma recovery
  • Cultural & racial identity exploration (including racism and discrimination)
  • LGBTQIA+ issues & gender identity support
  • Neurodivergence (specialising in ADHD)
  • Anger & emotional regulation
  • Workplace stress
  • Low self-esteem & loneliness
  • Health anxiety & concerns

I proudly offer a queer-friendly, trans-inclusive practice for both individuals and couples, creating a safe space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also have a passion for working with the Neurodivergent community, in particular supporting ADHD clients, at whatever stage they’re at in their journey of discovery.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Your First Counselling Session - What to Expect

Starting (or returning to) counselling can feel like a big step, and it is not uncommon to feel a little nervous or unsure.

When meeting for the first time, the first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and gives you a chance to see how you feel about us working together. There is no pressure to share more than you are comfortable with in this session - you are in control of what is discussed.

In our first session, I'll explain the process in more detail, explore your expectations and needs, and give you a chance to ask any questions you might have before we confirm that we are a good fit to work together.
