About me

I am an experienced Integrative Counselling providing a confidential counselling service in the heart of Stamford. I work with individual clients and couples, experiencing a range of issues, including but not limited to; anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, trauma and abuse.

As an integrative Counsellor, I utilise various approaches to suit individual client needs. Together we work to make sense of and identify the causes of problems, and to support you in determining your best way forwards. Ultimately, providing you with a place where you can speak openly, without fear of judgement, is at the heart of what I can offer you as your Counsellor.

Deciding to invest in counselling can be an opportunity to gain a greater sense of self-awareness and insight, learning empowering ways of coping, which you can then take with you as you continue to live your life.

I offer a service which is:

  • Flexible, adapting my approach to suit your needs
  • Confidential and non-judgmental, where you will be heard and supported
  • Experienced, fully qualified and insured
  • Current on key insights and research in the counselling field

Whatever it is you are experiencing, I can help you to explore your feelings, to help make sense of things in a way that can help you feel empowered to move forward.

BACP

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
