About me

I provide a confidential, supportive counselling service in the heart of Stamford. Working within the person-centred approach, I work with clients experiencing a range of issues, including but not limited to; anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma and abuse.

Providing the opportunity to speak openly, without fear of judgement, is at the heart of what I can offer you as your Counsellor.

Investing in this can help you to make sense of and identify the causes of problems and gain a greater sense of self-awareness and insight. This can empower you to make the best choices for yourself. I offer a service which is:

  • Flexible, adapting my approach to suit your needs
  • Confidential and non-judgmental, where you will be heard and supported
  • Experienced, fully qualified and insured
  • Current on key insights and research in the counselling field

Whatever it is you are experiencing, I can help you to explore your feelings, to help make sense of things in a way that can help you feel empowered to move forward.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
