About me

As a CBT therapist, my therapeutic approach follows the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy model which aims to understand the present difficulties an individual may be experiencing, and build a collaborative conceptualisation of these difficulties, in order to make sense of beliefs and behaviours that may have developed over the years and may be perpetuating distress in the here and now. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy has a unique and inclusive perception of the idea of “change”. Change can come through a shift in someone’s beliefs, or a behavioural change, but it can also arise through acceptance and self- compassion. Either way, collaboration and a evolving therapeutic relationship can facilitate growth, increase self-awareness and foster a different relationship with our own self and others. This can be the pillar of change.  When you think of starting therapy, you might be at a pivotal stage in your life where you are repeatedly facing a wall that you want to break through. Understanding what might be going on for you is the first step before you begin.

I have worked for the NHS, the charity sector. Currently, I work for a Central London NHS Trust. I have clinical experience providing psychological support in a breadth of difficulties such as depression, trauma, stress, anxiety disorders and relevant phobias, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I am also a final Doctorate trainee Counselling Psychologist, a training which allows me to integrate psychological interventions and tailor them to my client needs.

In my practice, I offer short term and long term therapy. You can contact me for a free and confidential 15 minute telephone consultation to discuss your reasons for accessing therapy and what you would like to get from this experience.

I offer face to face, online and telephone sessions, evenings and weekends.
