About me

My aim is to empower you to maximise your potential and build on skills to improve your life experiences and relationships,

It takes courage to explore your own life story, our discussions will be genuine and authentic. I will enable you to find hope, and feel free of the burdens that life's struggles can often bring.

I believe the foundation of counselling is to be seen and heard. I will always work towards a positive outcome. Sessions with me will provide you with a safe space that is free of judgment, which is the core of my approach with every client.

I work in a solution-focused way, with a range of psychological tools.

At the heart of the way I practice, is a commitment to walk alongside you on your unique journey of self- awareness and self-discover, As an Integrative counsellor, I view the therapeutic relationship as a partnership; working with you to meet your distinct needs using a range of therapeutic modalities.

My aim is to empower you to take an active role in your own healing process. My approach recognises the significance how cultural context has in shaping us and as a result, I work in a culturally informed manner; respecting, acknowledging, and integrating diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences  into the therapeutic process.

I am a well-trained and experienced counsellor, Clinical Supervisor and life coach and can assist you with various issues regarding, relationships, career, addiction, family issues, parenting, self worth/esteem, depression and chronic anxiety

I work with Children, Young people, Adults, and Couples.

My area of special interest is intercultural and inter-racial therapy, which is especially beneficial for culturally diverse, multicultural and international people. Being in a relationship can be challenging, more so when it is inter-racial.

If you want to improve your life and be more in charge of your overall wellbeing and happiness, reach out today.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
