About me
PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING THESE DIFFICULT TIMES. I’M STILL OFFERING BOTH TELEPHONE AND VIDEO CALLING OPTIONS FOR SESSIONS.
I provide a professional and confidential service that is not only underpinned by formal education but also my life experiences. For the past 7 years, I have helped many people find clarity, peace of mind and self-fulfilment. I am aware that the journey through counselling much like that of life can be a very difficult one at times. In these times I will be willing to be there right beside you no matter how difficult it becomes. We could sit in silence, or we could sit and chat, of we could sit and you could just let it all out. I won't be afraid to be afraid and hope you wouldn't either. I know I don't have all the answers and I'm sure at the start neither would you. However, I believe that with just the right amount of: compassion, guidance and challenge we as human beings can reach deep within ourselves and find the answers we need.
There are times in our lives when all of us need to find a little clarity about ourselves or our lives. Sometimes we need to make minor adjustments or big changes to feel like we are going in the right direction once again. Making these adjustments or changes by oneself can appear difficult, daunting, and sometimes even impossible. However, with a little, or a lot of help making the changes we want, can eventually become our reality.

I also have a wealth of experience working as a CBT Therapist in partnership with the NHS helping those with mental health conditions including depression and many anxiety disorders.
Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
