About me
I aim to help those who are experiencing difficulties in their lives, and struggling to find solutions by themselves. Finding their own answers to their problems and once again find fulfilment and enjoyment in life and its simplicities.
I provide a professional and confidential service that is not only underpinned by formal education but also my life experiences. Since 2012 I have helped many people find clarity, peace of mind and self-fulfilment. I am aware that the journey through counselling much like that of life can be a very difficult one at times. In these times I will be willing to be there right beside you no matter how difficult it becomes. We could sit in silence, or we could sit and chat, of we could sit and you could just let it all out. I won't be afraid to be afraid and hope you wouldn't either. I know I don't have all the answers and I'm sure at the start neither would you. However, I believe that with just the right amount of: compassion, guidance and challenge we as human beings can reach deep within ourselves and find the answers we need.
There are times in our lives when all of us need to find a little clarity about ourselves or our lives. Sometimes we need to make minor adjustments or big changes to feel like we are going in the right direction once again. Making these adjustments or changes by oneself can appear difficult, daunting, and sometimes even impossible. However, with a little, or a lot of help making the changes we want, can eventually become our reality.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society
This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations.
In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
