About me

Do you feel sick thinking about that upcoming social event and just know you’ll lie awake afterwards worrying about what you said/did? Do you feel alone when you’re surrounded by people, like no one really “gets” you? Are you torn between wanting to be with people and needing space? Perhaps it feels like there’s a giant canyon between what you want to do and what you find yourself doing, or that your day-to-day reality is nothing like you imagined life would be. If you feel stuck, wondering if this is all life has to offer, counselling can help you to find new confidence in yourself and your relationships, so you can experience more of the goodness life has to offer.

For many people, it may feel scary or “wrong” to reach out for help. Clients often tell me that taking the step to have counselling has changed their lives. It can change yours too. I can assist you in getting to know yourself better, and finding new confidence in yourself and your decisions. I can help you improve connection with people and stop feeling so alone. I can support you in reducing your anxiety and rediscovering enjoyment in life.

Take the step. Call or email me to find out more or book a no-obligation initial session.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Christian Counselling, a Level 5 Certificate in Counselling Young People and a Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling. I regularly attend additional training to keep my knowledge and skills up-to-date.

My training includes working with couples, trauma, anxiety, attachment, disordered eating, self-injury, inner child and many other subjects.

Since 2008, I have supported clients with a wide range of backgrounds, difficulties and hopes. I am an integrative counsellor, which means I use elements from different counselling models depending on what is most relevant and beneficial for clients. Each client brings their own unique story, and I aim to provide an individual service, tailored to the client’s preferences and needs.

As a counsellor, I have seen many teens, adults and couples improve their mental health, find new confidence in themselves and their decisions, improve connection in relationships, reduce their anxiety and find more enjoyment in life.

You can too.

Further information

I am happy to offer in-person sessions in North Tonbridge, Kent, or online video sessions via Zoom (ideally) or WhatsApp.

Initially, I offer a no-obligation meeting to discuss your reasons for seeking counselling and what you are hoping for. This is an opportunity to get a “feel” for each other and how we might work together towards your goals.

I usually offer medium or long-term counselling, but am happy to discuss short term work if this your preference. We will review after 6 sessions and then periodically to ensure counselling continues to be beneficial.

Please contact me by phone or email to discuss how counselling can help you (or your teen) transform your life.

Keep an eye on your email junk/spam in case my email ends up there.

Wheelchair user access
Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a Counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the Counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

The room I use for sessions is on the first floor, but there is level access to the building, a lift to the first floor and a wheelchair accessible toilet. There is free parking available and bus routes are nearby.
