About me
Is anxiety casting a shadow over your life? Do you feel guilty for messing up or letting people down? Has shame become a regular visitor to your thoughts? Are you feeling frustrated that you keep falling into the same unhelpful patterns? Perhaps your day-to-day reality is not how you imagined life would be. If you feel stuck, wondering if this is all life has to offer, counselling can bring compassion and understanding, helping you to find new confidence in yourself and your relationships, so you can experience more of the goodness life has to offer.
Reaching out for help may feel scary or “wrong”. I've been there. Having counselling has changed my life. It can change yours too. I can work with you in getting to know yourself better, and finding new confidence in yourself and your decisions. I can help you improve connection with people and stop feeling so alone. I can support you in reducing your anxiety, guilt, shame and frustration, so you can rediscover enjoyment in life.
Your relationship with your partner may be your main concern. Is your communication in a muddle? Have you lost the sense of teamwork and instead are feeling distanced? Are you finding it hard to be completely yourself with each other? I help couples get to know each other better, discover improved communication and connect more deeply.
Perhaps you are concerned about a young person in your life and think they would benefit from counselling. Have they lost confidence in themselves, or started acting out of character? Are you concerned that their anxiety is holding them back? Have friendships become a struggle? Do you feel them pushing back when you try to connect with them? Having previously worked as a youth worker, and now as a counsellor, I am experienced in supporting young people with the things troubling them.
I'd love to explore how I can help you or your young person. Call, text, WhatsApp or email me to find out more or book a no-obligation initial session.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Christian Counselling, a Level 5 Certificate in Counselling Young People and a Certificate in Online and Telephone Counselling. I also have a Diploma in Counselling Supervision. I regularly attend additional training to keep my knowledge and skills up-to-date.
My training includes working with couples, trauma, anxiety, attachment, disordered eating, self-injury, inner child and many other subjects.
Since 2008, I have supported clients with a wide range of backgrounds, difficulties and hopes. I am an integrative counsellor, which means I use elements from different counselling models depending on what is most relevant and beneficial for clients. Each client brings their own unique story, and I aim to provide an individual service, tailored to the client’s preferences and needs.
As a counsellor, I have seen many teens, adults and couples improve their mental health, find new confidence in themselves and their decisions, improve connection in relationships, reduce their anxiety and find more enjoyment in life.
You can too.

Further information
I am happy to offer in-person sessions in North Tonbridge, Kent, or online video sessions via Google Meet (ideally) or WhatsApp, or by telephone.
Initially, I offer a no-obligation meeting to discuss your reasons for seeking counselling and what you are hoping for. This is an opportunity to get a “feel” for each other and how we might work together towards your goals.
I usually offer medium or long-term counselling, but am happy to discuss short term work if this your preference. We will review after 6 sessions and then periodically to ensure counselling continues to be beneficial.
Please contact me by WhatsApp, text, phone or email to discuss how counselling can help you (or your teen) transform your life.
Keep an eye on your email junk/spam in case my email ends up there.
