About me

Whatever you feel is troubling you right now through counselling I can help you through the difficult times and emerge stronger with a greater understanding of yourself.

Are you experiencing feelings that are challenging and would like to explore them in a safe, non-judgmental, and confidential space?

Perhaps you have problems at home; relationship or family issues, stress, anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, or perhaps something is holding you back from a work life perspective.

I offer 50 minute sessions at the same time each week in person in a comfortable, private setting in the centre of Cambridge or online sessions via WhatsApp, Zoom or Teams from the comfort of your own home or workplace. I offer a free 10 minute phone consultation to discuss how we would best work together.

I understand that looking for a counsellor can be a daunting prospect. My goal is to support you through the process. Through a collaborative process, at your own pace, I can help you to feel less anxious, cultivate more fulfilling personal and or professional relationships. I can help you to feel more confident and empowered to make choices in your life and work through the challenges successfully.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am a fully qualified integrative counsellor offering face to face and online sessions in a convenient and comfortable Cambridge city centre location. I work with young people and adults with a variety of different issues.

I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the key to successful therapy and will ensure that I help you to work through whats worrying you in the best way that suits you.

Contact me: sessions@re-mind.co.uk or 01223 658796 to arrange an introductory call.

As an integrative counsellor I work from a foundation of person centred counselling but also work with those suffering from issues that stem from the past: childhood trauma, relationship issues, parenting issues, low self esteem, self worth and depression.

I have worked with Open Door who specialise in counselling for children and young people.

I also work with Family Action a long established charity offering counselling to families and family members in times of difficulties.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
