About me

Hi I'm Carol,

I currently have appointments available for Walk'N'Talk and online sessions, contact me to find out more.

I'm an integrative counsellor and hypnotherapist based in Northampton. I work with clients 15+yrs, who are struggling with anxiety, stress and self confidence.

It may sound a little cliché but I love what I do as a counsellor and hypnotherapist. Every day I get to make a positive impact in another persons life.

After a reasonably successful career in retail, I found that I wasn’t getting any joy or meaning from my work and wanted to follow my passion to help others. I trained as an Integrative therapist which meant I could learn about a variety of different approaches to human nature. One of the biggest things I believe is that one size does not fit all, we are all individuals with hugely different stories. In order to be able to help as many people as I could I wanted to have as many tools and techniques I could to make my therapy as individual as the person sitting in front of me.

I am a great believer in Ecotherapy and the power of nature to aid in mental and physical wellness. Studies dating back to the 1800s have shown how good nature and being out doors is for us. This is why I offer the walk'n'talk sessions, you don't even need to walk, just sitting on a bench and talking could be enough to aid sessions and help change your mood, and thoughts in a positive way.

Key details

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a counsellor's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the counsellor to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.

I have Walk and Talk routes that are wheelchair friendly and for people who maybe less mobile
