About me

I believe in the inherent health of each individual. However, life, our conditioning and circumstances can take us away from this. My aim is to meet with you and share on your journey to discover the freedom of being true to yourself in spite of the obstacles. This opens us up to being our authentic selves and more fulfilling relationships and alignment to our life purpose.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an accredited UKCP psychotherapist. I have a Masters degree in Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy from the Karuna Institute ( and Middlesex University)  and a Diploma in Core Process Psychotherapy (CPP). CPP brings together Western psychology with Buddhist principles.

I am a qualified lawyer with many years experience in this area.

I have several years experience volunteering at the Centre for Better Health in Hackney, Spiral Centre in Holloway Road and working with NHS Frontline staff following the Covid Pandemic. This has really given me valuable insights and experience for my private practice.

I offer a free initial consultation for 30 minutes online or on the phone to  discuss what has brought you to therapy. It is important for it to feel like the right fit since therapy is a relationship. There is no obligation to continue to sessions. If we do proceed to sessions together , then we typically meet weekly at the same time.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

UKCP
UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
