I'm a fully qualified and experienced therapeutic counsellor, and I specialise in couple counselling, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, loneliness, divorce, affairs and anger issues.
For many people, the most important thing in life is to have healthy relationships, to live in a happy, harmonious environment. However despite our best attempts, many relationships don't work out that way. Some relationships start off really well but lose the momentum and become stale, others wither and die, and some turn toxic.
You may be here because you want to know what can be done about this and who can you turn to for help? Friends and family aren't always able to give us the time and attention we would like, so as a professional counsellor, I can offer you a space where you can share your thoughts without judgement. Together we can explore issues that may be causing you confusion and pain.
Most importantly I will give you time and clarity to think about how you would ideally like your relationships to be. Would you like to replicate what you had in your birth family or would you like the opposite or something in-between? If you are struggling and you're not sure what to do why not allow yourself to have a few sessions and explore your thoughts.
I use CBT, psychodynamic and person-centred approaches in my work. So, if you're struggling with anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts or a breakdown in your relationship, I would invite you to get in touch to see how exploring your feelings will help clarify what's important to you.
If you are seeking help because your marriage is going through a crisis I will meet with each partner separately for an initial assessment before bringing the couple together in the third session.
If you would like to find out more or make an appointment my number is 07732 396940 or you can also email me.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
