About me
I work a lot with people who experience grief: losing people, relationships, the way they used to be. I have also worked with substance abuse and depression, as well as the big questions: how I want to live my life? What kind of person I want to be? What is the story I tell myself about my life?
Therapy is one of the strangest, most personal and scariest relationships there is. But it can reveal a whole different part of you, help you understand yourself and your motivations better, and ultimately, help you live a freer life.
The relationship with the therapist, according to studies, is the single most important factor in therapy success. It's a difficult choice in the sea of therapists, but I hope you get in touch. I can't wait to meet you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I started my therapist training in Budapest, and did 2 years of undergrad education for psychology there. In the UK, I finished my Certificate in Therapeutic Skills & Studies at Metanoia Institute, and my PgDip at the University of East London in their Integrative Coaching and Counselling program.
Outside of my 10+ years of corporate career, I have volunteered bereavement support worker at St Joseph’s Hospice, and with Change Grow Live, a health and social care charity (substance abuse), and HQ Therapy, a low-cost counselling service.
I have an undergrad and masters degree in international relations from Corvinus University of Budapest.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Additional information
I work on a sliding scale. The first session is to see if it is a good match, and if the therapy I do would be suitable for what you are looking for. If not, I can refer you onwards, but if we are a good match, I usually ask for you to pay for 4 sessions upfront. In my experience, this helps with making sure we don't have to spend too much time on admin in the session.
