About us

Altogether Human CIC is a psychology-led service, providing psychological assessments, therapy and support to the community. We have a strong belief that supportive relationships contribute to our well-being and as a result, we are a relationship and family focused organisation.

We work with individuals, couples, parents and families, including separated and blended families.

We have a small set of therapy rooms in Chorlton and we see people online, too.

Our team consists of: Jasmina Frzina and Gemma Parker (both HCPC registered psychologists), Suzanne (administrator), and currently two trainees - a clinical psychologist in training who works with children and a counsellor in training who works with adults. Providing placements for trainees means we can offer low-cost sessions to people who need it.

Training, qualifications & experience

Jasmina is a counselling psychologist. She has a doctorate in counselling psychology and post-qualification training in psycho-sexual issues within relationships in particular. She works a lot with people who have experienced trauma who want to rebuild their lives and their relationships.

Gemma is a clinical psychologist. She has a doctorate in clinical psychology and post-qualification training in working with people overcoming conflict and violence in particular. She works a lot with parents/families overcoming difficult relationships and painful events.

Both psychologists have trained in therapy models that allow them to work with parents who are concerned about their children's anxiety and/or aggressive or problematic behaviour (e.g. non-violent resistance and SPACE (supportive parenting for anxious childhood experiences).

The trainees we work with are on university courses that lead to qualifications in counselling or psychology. Their formal placements are supervised by Gemma and Jasmina.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
