About me
I am a qualified person-centred counsellor working with Play Therapy techniques, based in Rutland. I use an integrative approach combining different therapeutic theories, making sure I am working in a way which best supports you. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP)and I work within their ethical framework.
I offer a safe, confidential, non-judgemental space for you to openly explore whatever has brought you to counselling. Whether this may be in relation to stress, anxiety, low self esteem, ADHD, Autism, depression, relationship issues, grief, or perhaps you are feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to start.
A place to reflect, help build resilience and grow.
My approach uses empathy, respect and care to work together to make sense of the issues you are bringing to counselling. Helping enable you to make effective and positive changes.
I offer counselling appointments online (video call), telephone and in person. Dependant on your needs, I can offer short and long-term therapy.
I understand that starting therapy can feel daunting, finding the right counsellor that suits you is important when you are working together. I offer a free no obligation 30-minute consultation, please email me to arrange an appointment.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
