About me

Feeling overwhelmed? Struggling with anxiety, depression, or ADHD? Maybe you're grappling with low self-esteem, confidence issues, or dealing with family problems. Perhaps you're navigating through trauma or coping with bereavement. You're not alone. Counselling offers support tailored to your needs. It's okay to seek help when you need it most. Take that first step toward healing and reclaiming yourself. You deserve to find peace and clarity amidst life's challenges.

As a qualified person-centred counsellor and psychotherapist, I specialise in helping individuals navigate through anxiety and depression. Through collaborative conversations, I work with clients to understand their struggles and explore effective ways to manage and overcome them. I acknowledge that anxiety and depression frequently accompany other concerns, such as stress, trauma, ADHD or Autism. My experience involves working with individuals dealing not only with anxiety and depression but also the added complexities that can arise from these challenges.

What to expect?

In my practice, I customise my approach based on each individual's unique needs and preferences. I blend traditional talk therapy with creative techniques, offering alternative ways to explore and understand struggles beyond verbal communication.

Throughout our sessions, I aim to establish a safe and empathetic space where you can openly discuss thoughts and feelings without judgment. Recognizing that talking about challenges can be difficult, I provide creative avenues, such as art or writing or any other form of communication you prefer to help you express yourself and make sense of experiences.

My commitment is to create a comfortable, supportive environment for your journey. Together, we can explore various approaches to discover what works best for you.

Having faced my own share of life's difficulties, I truly understand the challenges that come with managing our thoughts and feelings during tough times. I've personally dealt with anxiety, depression, and the impact of addiction within my family. These experiences have given me insight into the complexities of handling emotions when life gets tough. Through therapy, I found that speaking with someone emotionally unattached provided me with a clearer perspective. This personal therapeutic journey, combined with the knowledge and tools I gained through my education and work, has been instrumental in my growth and enabling me to effectively navigate life's challenges.

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold a postgraduate diploma (level 7) in counselling and psychotherapy practice, I am also a qualified psychotherapist and counsellor registered with the BACP.

I am currently completing my master's degree in counselling and psychotherapy practice. I have worked with individuals facing various challenges, from anxiety and depression to trauma, stress, Autism, and ADHD.

I have worked for Young Person Advisory Service charity in Merseyside, I focused on helping both young people and adults through one-on-one counselling sessions. I worked with individuals dealing with various challenges like anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and trauma. I not only addressed their emotional and psychological concerns but also provided practical support to them and their families.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
