Training, qualifications & experience
34 The Mall is a project co-created by two professionals in their fields - dance and therapy - with a passion for improving the presence of physical and psychological therapies.
Roberta has spent her former life as a Ballet dancer and ballet professional, holding a Degree in Ballet from the Royal Academy of Dance. Until recently she worked for the RAD as an examiner and writing some of their CPD. She has taught extensively throughout the South and in London and examined world wide. She is a qualified Life Coach and has a great love for dance and Yoga and is interested in how the body can hold trauma and will be combining her current Transactional Analysis psychotherapy Masters training with movement for therapeutic benefit.
Tim is an ex NHS specialist counsellor/ psychological therapist with over 22 years experience. Holding 3 therapy degrees including an MSc, he also has an advanced Post Graduate Diploma in CBT.
These days he specialises in working with Anxiety, and OCD is his super-geek area! If you’re struggling with ‘typical’ OCD symptoms or unwanted horrible, distressing, usually disgusting or horrific intrusive thoughts, call him - he can help!
Member organisations *
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
