Hello, I have been a Gestalt therapist for 24 years and love working holistically connecting peoples thoughts and emotions and making sense out of any difficulties and confusions. I provide a safe space for people to speak about their depression, anxieties or losses and a place to celebrate the changes that occur. Gestalt therapy looks for the patterns that underlie stuck behaviours and opens up new choices and ways of doing and being.
I also have trained as an energy healer In the Barbara Brennan method and if appropriate incorporate some distant healing into the work.
Training, qualifications & experience
I trained in Gestalt Therapy in the mid 80s in Edinburgh and became accredited with COSCA in 1995.
I joined GPTI (Gestalt PsychotherapyTraining Institute) as a trainer and supervisor in 1999
I am experienced in both solution-focused brief therapy and long-term therapy.
I have worked as a counsellor in GP practices in Scotland and a staff counsellor at the City of Edinburgh Council and the University of Edinburgh.
Since moving to Wiltshire I have developed a holistic practice working with body mind spirit.
