I have been working as a therapist since 1996. I work in an integrative way; attending to the multiple aspects of self: emotions, intellect, somatic (body-physical), social, creative, and when relevant spiritual aspects of self. I specialize in working with trauma (PTSD), complex trauma (childhood and developmental trauma), including anxiety and depression and relational issues.
I work with individual adults as well as couples. When working with couples I work from an EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) model, which is based on Sue Johnson's research/model.
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Registered Psychotherapist, Accredited EMDR Consultant & Supervisor, Registered Euro Psychologist.
My basic orientation is Transpersonal and Integrative.

I am an EMDR supervisor and consultant to various NHS Trusts since 2006.

I am a Registered Counselling Psychologist with the HCPC (Health Care Professions Council)
I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist, Associate Fellow and Qualified supervisor with the BPS (British Psychological Society)
I am an Accredited Integrative Psychotherapist with UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy)
Registered EuroPsy Psychologist with EFPA (European Federation of Psychologists' Associations).
I am also a professional member of ISTSS (International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies), ESTSS (European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies),and the UKPTS (UK Psychological Trauma Society).
I am also an International Affiliate Member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and a full Professional member of EMDR UK & Ireland Association.
