Profile

I offer a range of therapeutic services to adults, young people and and families. People who seek therapy and counselling may be struggling with long term issues such as adoption and child abuse or issues that have emerged as a result of life crisis, change or transition for example relationship  issues or divorce; work stress, bereavement; and fertility related issues. I am able to work short and long term using a range of interventions ranging from solution focused CBT approaches to long term in depth therapy.

I provide supervision to therapists and counsellors from a range of modalities who are seeking to maintain their accreditation with UKCP. BACP or HPC or to those still students and or building their clinical hours. I also provide a confidential mentoring/ consultation service to those in related fields and to organisations struggling with change.

BSc (hons) Psychology
Diploma in Social Work, Master degree in Social Work
Diploma in Humanistic Counselling
Diploma in Psychotherapy
Master degree in Psychotherapy
Certificate in Supervision

I have over 15 years experience of providing counselling and psychotherapy and an additional experience of work as a social worker. I have extensive experience of Counselling and Psychotherapy with children and adults and have worked with a wide range of people with varying difficulties from a diverse range of social and cultural backgrounds.

Some parent consultation is usually required in addition to seeing young people on their own. Family sessions by negotiation.

All sessions are 50 minutes unless otherwise negotiated.
