I am an experienced and Accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor, registered with BACP and ITAA, I am also Enhanced DBS checked.
I am located both in Wilmslow and also work from my office in Alderley Edge, which means I am really accessible to clients from both SK9 areas and also clients located in WA16 such as Knutsford and Marthall.
I have over 15 years experience in working with, couples, adults, children and adolescents on a wide spectrum of issues, such as, exam stress, depression and anxiety, post-natal depression, panic disorder, relationship issues, separation and divorce, affairs and betrayals, anger management and work related difficulties, addictions, bereavement and loss, OCD, weight issues and low self-esteem.
I also offer Couples Counselling. Having worked with couples for over ten years, I have significant experience and training in this area. I am able to offer an approach that has successfully supported couples dealing with the impact of affairs and betrayals, and with couples who want to change areas in the relationship where conflict repeatedly occurs and where couples want to find more effective ways of communicating and relating. I also work with couples who have taken the decision to separate and are in the process of divorce. If you have any questions you would like to ask about couples counselling feel free to contact me.
I also offer therapy to BACP trainees and those doing their Transactional Analysis training. I provide sessions to adolescents and students going through exam stress, using a combination of Coaching, NLP and Counselling techniques, helping students and adolescents manage their anxiety successfully.
I run several support groups. A self development group for individuals who wish to work on self esteem, and feel that a small peer group environment would be of benefit to them. Support and motivation is provided through a combination of Coaching, Nlp, and Therapy. I run a men only group and another for women, these groups meet once a fortnight.
I also run a support group for people who are currently going through the difficult process of divorce and separation. The group provides a safe space for mutual understanding and shared experiences. Offering the opportunity to work through key areas that impact on individuals during this time of change. If you'd like more information please contact me for more information either by phone or email.
My training is in Transactional Analysis, Psychotherapy, CBT and Counselling. In addition to this I have also extensive experience and training in working with couples and also with children and adolescents.
I am also a Life Coach and Hypnotherapist and can offer this to clients who wish to enhance their professional development or to incorporate this into their therapy.
I offer a warm, professional and respectful approach to the process of therapy and am passionate in my aim to provide a quality service to clients. Working alongside clients to support and enable individuals to effectively resolve issues that are presented.
I also work in schools providing counselling and behavioural support for children and adolescents. I run my own company, ImpactNorthWest which provides training and support for, Schools, Organisations and Businesses.
